Rayne has been married for 35 years to Clark Brown a computer engineer for AT&T/NCR, has one child Jordan Pietz, who is 29 years old and a grandson, Hudson, 20 months.
Until 2010, Rayne Brown practiced social work in Davidson County for 35 years. She has worked with abused and neglected children, disabled and elderly adults and at risk pregnant women and their families. She also taught Compensatory Education for Davidson County Community College.
